Responsibilities

- Overseeing all system architectures among the projects
- Participating in architectural discussions with clients
- Driving architecture and design directions for project teams
- Participating in and reviewing estimations
- Developing team maturity, including training and career growth
- Effectively managing the teams in multiple locations to ensure exceptional performance.
- Providing leadership to department leads that support the company’s culture mission and goals
- Consistently evaluating and enhancing technical efficiency
- Evaluating emerging technologies/industry trends and applying them into the day to day activities of the team
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science;
- At least 7 years experience as a successful software engineer;
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering leadership roles;
- Hands-on success in growing, managing, mentoring, and leading a cross-functional engineering team;
- Excellent knowledge of mobile development platforms: iOS, Android, React Native;
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and frameworks: Angular.js, React.js, Node.js;
- Experience with TDD;
- A deep understanding of architectural and design patterns
- Upper Intermediate level of English language proficiency
- Good team player with good written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology
- Expertise in working with both relational and non-relational databases
- Knowledge and expertise on cloud deployments (Preferably AWS)
