Joining our team at Azets Software, a ~40 person software company and part of the Azets Group, a multinational corporation with offices across 8 countries, you'll become the responsible designer for one of our 5 cross-functional product teams. These teams are responsible for over 10 applications within our enterprise solutions, supporting great service experiences and empowering users to focus on their business while we take care of the rest. Our Design Journey
Enterprise software has historically been a laggard behind consumer applications when it comes to creating well designed user experiences. Azets Software is committed to creating experiences that are on par with consumer apps with regards to usability, functionality and enabling users to achieve their goals. We've made significant strides towards this mission, including the establishment and utilisation of our design system, the formation of cross-functional teams, and the recruitment of James, our Head of Design. James is here not only to ensure our clients achieve business outcomes through design excellence but also to guide, mentor, and support you in becoming the best team player and designer possible. We have ambitions for further recruitment within design and strengthening our capacity with disciplines such as service design, user research and design ops. For now, our team consists of 3 designers focused on user experience (including you) and 3 designers focused on user interface design and the design system. This team consists of talented individuals who deeply value building trusting relationships, empathy and to support each other every day to help us be our best selves.
Your New Challenge
Over the next year, one of our key priorities is to foster true cross-functional collaboration within our product teams. You'll work closely with a product manager to prioritize, scope, and define product features and functionalities that drive both user satisfaction and business value. Navigating our organisation and ensuring the inclusion of various stakeholder opinions and inputs, including our users, will be crucial. As we move toward more data-informed design decisions, you'll play a pivotal role by conducting research and data analysis to provide confidence in our decision-making process.
This role offers diversity and the opportunity to bring additional competencies and skills that will add value as we continue to mature as an organisation. Whether it's UX writing, workshop facilitation, or any other discipline falling under the umbrella of design, we're excited to know what you can offer.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an effective communicator who can navigate the complexities of the enterprise landscape. Active listening, adapting your communication style to different situations and stakeholders, and being proactive and adaptable are crucial traits for success. You will also need to be fluent in English which is our working language.
